Artist Tree Studio
Artist Tree Studio was formed in the fall of 2017 in Houston, Texas. What began as a couple of after school classes soon exploded into a 20+ student program participating in contests and putting on a yearly art show! When the Rhodes family moved to Temple in the fall of 2019, the studio started fresh. It outgrew a few temporary locations throughout the years, eventually spurring on a major renovation to give it a permanent home- the Rhodes family's detached garage. The garage needed big growth, it was wood beams and concrete, with cracks and two broken garage doors. We planned out the vision for our new space and began renovations in the summer of 2022. Now we own a beautiful art studio, colorful and large enough to hold all our classes. Come check it out, and experience the joy of creating within it's walls!
Tiffany Rhodes, Owner, Instructor
Tiffany Rhodes (BFA, Oklahoma Christian University 2009) is the founder and director of Artist Tree Studio. She lives in Temple with her husband Roy and 3 children: Micah, Miriam, and Nathanael, and enjoys DIY renovation projects on her 100+ year old house.
Tiffany doesn't just want to teach kids to draw- she wants them to fall in LOVE with art and discover the artist within themselves. And to love art, they need to feel legit. Therefore, Artist Tree Studio strives to provide students with professional grade materials to inspire and equip them to do their best work.
She brings years of experience teaching art fundamentals and various techniques so that children can unleash their wild imaginations!
Tiffany Rhodes
Micah Rhodes began as a student of the studio in 2017, and has taken years of art classes through the studio and at school. He is 13 years old, and is wildly talented with digital art. He has been working with the studio as a teaching aide since the fall of 2023, and is an invaluable helper as he works with students and learns innovative new techniques to share!
